"Where There is No Vision"

"The people perish" Proverbs 29:18

The last 6 months have been absolutely crazy for myself and the family. My wife gave birth to our first, we have moved to a new state, I became a pastor, and we opened up a little side business. I have to say there has been a lot of growth and learning that has happened. It has been incredible. At times it has been painful, but completely worth it.

I started this site out as a blog, I wrote for awhile, but honestly know in my heart that this ministry is meant to be more. I'm spending time in prayer and would ask all of you to do the same for my family and I. I will be changing the site and have a vision of how it should be, and what this ministry is meant to be, it is just a matter of figuring out how to do it as the spirit leads, and then doing it.

As I have said before we can no longer afford to be a wishy-washy church. Bench set Christians who watch this life from the sidelines. Christ told us to do quite the opposite. "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Matthew 5:14-16

We are meant for so much more than we are. Our mission and our calling is far beyond what we fulfill. Our expectations for ourselves, and I include myself in this, need to be astronomically higher than they are. We are men and women God has called out of this world for a specific purpose; and we must stand ready to fulfill it. Only in the absence of light can darkness reign.
