The Kingdom

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:2-3

My friend Sean came to Christ yesterday at lunch. I'm not going to lie it was rather emotional for me. One, because it took me back to Christ and what He went through and did for us. Two, because I care for my friend and God has really had him on my heart lately. Please be praying for him, as he begins this new journey as a Christian.  After I got off work we got together and spent about two hours just talking about the bible, Christ, where we are in time, and spiritual warfare. During this conversation he asked me what happens when time is over, he wanted to know what eternity was like. I honestly had to say I don't know. No one truly does.

Now think about this, and if you try and wrap your head around this I think it will be amazing for you. First, God and heaven are not bound by a 4 dimensional universe. Height, width, length, and time. Eternity isn't lots of time, it is outside of time. Now understanding that our minds cannot comprehend what we would call hyper dimensions or begin to visualize a realm of them, hold this in your mind. It says I go and prepare a place for you, it took God 6 days to create the universe as we know it, and look how incredible it is and the vastness of it.  That was just six days, He has been preparing a place for us for over 2000 years. It is beyond truly comprehensible when we say from 1 Corinthians 2:9 Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. That my friends is exciting.
