The Fire

My brothers and sisters, we are moving into a period of darkness within this world. Everything is moving towards a point in time the likes of which the world has never seen. We don't know when exactly it is, but we do know it is soon. As I spoke to you before the we know that the dark side of this life is very interested with this year. There is a reason, and we do not necessarily know what it is, but, we do know that we are heading into a time of darkness.

With that I challenge you to take up your armor, wield your sword, find out what the bible says. Not just reading over it, I mean really what the bible says. Begin a word by word study of the bible. There are free programs that are wonderful for this. WWW.BLUELETTERBIBLE.ORG is an incredible tool in which we have a concordance, dictionary, and can even study the Greek and Hebrew without having to know the languages. We are not just to be a small candle of light, but a lighthouse in this world. Shining bright with the message of Jesus Christ, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" Mathew 11:28. We are to burn with the glory of God and His Spirit welling up inside of us. "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Mathew 5:16 Jesus Christ is a consuming fire that if given the chance to take over our lives completely, will work in ways that are too incredible to describe, and beyond what we could ever comprehend.

We are called to go into all the world and speak the Gospel. Every chance encounter, every relationship, every time we end up in a situation last second, is an opportunity to share Christ. I had to pull staff duty yesterday, the guy that was suppose to pull it had ended up needing to get surgery, the guy that was there with me was also a last minute write in. He is a Christian, but has not been pursuing his faith at all for the last few years. God brought us together, opportunity, and the Spirit spoke through me to him. It was incredible. But, if I had not been where I needed to be in my life, and sensitive to the movement of the Spirit would I have seen this opportunity, or had the boldness to talk to him about Christ and what we are called to as Christians. NO! Understand this is done with a loving heart and attitude, never out of judgement. Just as Christ was we meet people where they are, and call them to Him. Go now out into the world, take the message of Christ, burn before all men, and bring glory to our Coming King this day!
