Fiddling while Rome Burns

 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Matthew 24:3-8

It is absolutely incredible to me how quickly this world has turned around in the last week. Everything going on in the Middle East, the uprising of Muslims throughout the world, China sends 1,000 boat armada to disputed Japanese island chain, 40000 Indian troops and tanker brigades move to the Chinese Boarder, Russia forgave North Korea 11 Billion/90%of their debt, Iran and nukes, the list goes on and on. It is as if someone hit fast forward on the dvd player. It is time to wake up! Our very freedoms in America are at risk. 

My brothers and sisters, it is time to stand up, we can no longer afford to sit within the safety of our own salvation. Did Christ our Lord not give us a commission?! Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 24:44-48, Mark 16:15-18, Acts 1:3-8. How can we go out into the world, amongst the lost and captive, and bring them the message of Jesus Christ if we ourselves are babes that can only be spoon fed infant sized bites in a Sunday morning service. We must grow up and become Sons and Daughters of God. If you lack wisdom concerning the scriptures or anything ask of God for wisdom. James 1:5-6 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."

1 Chronicles 12:32 "And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment." Do we not see the signs of the times, that the birth pangs are beginning? I am screaming at the top of my lungs it is time for us to pick up the scriptures and truly make it our sword. We must imbibe constantly and build our faith. It is through the word of God that we build our faith. Romans 10:17 "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." We are to be a lighthouse emblazoned with the fire of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us. Let go of the cares of this life, drunkenness, flesh, whatever is in your life that is keeping you beneath the surface where we are furthest from our King, remove it. Dark days lie ahead, but we have Christ. The Holy Spirit will guide us in all things, but we must take the initiative and the time to maintain and better our relationship with Him. Do soldiers go into battle without being prepared. NO!!!! So why do we as the Ecclesia think we can?! Wake up to the world as it is, and as it will be. We are those called out by Christ to be his ambassadors to the world. So as of this day, let us take this seriously and with all understanding that this is a battle of life and death beyond what any of us can truly comprehend. I implore you all to stand and be the Men and Women of God that we are called to be, and to fulfill the Great Commission that our Coming King, Jesus Christ gave to all of us!!!
