Punish your Daughters

¹⁶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

¹⁷ But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;

¹⁸ And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.

¹⁹ But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.

²⁰ For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. Matthew 10:16-20

We constantly look forward to the coming of our King. It truly is our blessed hope, but we in America have fallen into the trap of comfort and happily sit in our pew saying, "Oh don't worry Jesus will come" yet we keep not our eyes on what is going on around us, nor do we search the scriptures and grow up in the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 " For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." We have been blessed, but on the horizon darkness appears, and there is a very good chance we will begin to endure what the rest of Christians in the world have endured for the past 2000 years. We will be spared THE tribulation, but Christ Himself promised us we will go through tribulation. It is time for us to wake up, and grow up! Find out for ourselves what the word of the Lord says. Seeking Him diligently, not just getting spoon fed baby bits on Sunday and Wednesday. How can we speak the life of our Coming King Jesus Christ to the world if we ourselves are babes with no knowledge of what His word says?! Old Testament, New Testament it all speaks of Him!

He is our rock, we must build our foundation upon it. ⁴⁶ “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say? ⁴⁷ Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: ⁴⁸ He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.^{[a] 49} But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell.^[b] And the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6:46-49

When the day of trial comes will our house be blown down or be found standing. How many of us honestly, can defend our faith? Even I have in the recent struggled with this and over and over again God has allowed me to see how little I truly know. It is humbling, yet allows my fire to burn hotter in my desire to know the scriptures. James 1:5-7 ^"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."

This is my call to you, the Kingdom of God. Open your eyes, where we go on Sunday is a church. But, YOU! YOU ARE THE CHURCH!!! We each are the temple of the Holy Spirit. We have everything to gain all knowledge and wisdom in our Lord, do not waste one more minute of your life in ignorance. Find out what is actually going on in the world, take up the scriptures, pray constantly, Seek Christ; then we will be able to stand tall for our King,  free the captive and when the time comes for us to speak, His Spirit will speak through us. All glory to our King Jesus Christ, for His is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory Forever! Amen!
