Sound the Trump

I spoke with a friend of mine yesterday. He is going through a low point, and he suffers from depression. I would ask that you all pray for him. We all have our times, I remember when I was younger and at a darker point in my life, the complete oppression that was within every part of my life. It of course did not help that I was not living as I should. I had lost my first love. No matter how much temporary relief I had from alcohol, drugs, or indulgence of flesh I ended up feeling worse and more lost than I already was. The depression was overpowering. If the enemy can keep us focused on us, and nullify us as a threat he has completed his job.

We must break through whatever struggle, addiction, tribulation we are facing and lay it before the Lord. We have a direct line to the King of the Universe. It is a process, but using every ounce of fight within us we must rise to that which we are called, and take our places in this world. The stage is getting set, and lines are being drawn. We can no longer afford to be ignorant of what is going on, even more, ignorant of the Scriptures.

Sir Isaac Newton  said "About the time of the end, a body of men will be raised up who will turn their attention to the Prophecies, and insist upon their literal interpretation, in the midst of much clamor and opposition." Here I stand demanding now that we take everything that has been set forth as literal.

I am calling all of you to become the men and women we are called to be. To rise and be a blazing lighthouse in this world for our Lord Jesus Christ. No more time for games, no more time for ignorance, and no more spasmodic Christianity. It is time for all of us to begin the onslaught of  Ecclesia!

  1. Great word Paul. I'm not sure what happened to my post. I pushed something and it disappeared. I'll try again.
I agree, we need to wake up to what's going on around us. I think the Church is very weak right now. It seems like we focus to much on sin and not enough on God. in Him, is the power and authority to be free of sin and break strongholds. I think we are often to comfortable in our comfort.
As Christians, let's go on the offensive and start taking ground instead of fighting for what is already ours.
